At LeeBoom, you have the option to close your account at any time. 

If you close your account, keep the following in mind:

• You must be able to log in to your account to close it

• Closing your account is possible on the website and mobile application

• When you close your account, you are giving up your username. If someone creates an account with the same username, you will no longer be able to restore your original account

• You cannot reset your account by signing in again.

If someone has created a LeeBoom account with your email address, please send us a Support request. You can submit a request by clicking on "Help / Do you need help?" at the bottom of the page.

If you close your LeeBoom account, you will lose access to your:

• Libraries and reading lists

• Private and public messages

• Comments

• Personal written works

• Username

Verify an account that is closed

If you want to verify that your account has been closed:

1. Type https://www.leeboombooks.com/profile/yourusername replacing “yourusername” with the username of the account you just closed.

2. If you have closed your account, you should see a page that says "User not found."
